We’re now in a postion to restart our training but haven’t confirmed any dates yet,

At CPSARC we offer all three levels of training – Foundation, Intermediate and Full. Details of courses can be found on the website, see below. They are now being run over the Autumn/Winter period in the Royal British Legion, Lounge (Cockenzie).

Normal pattern is a Foundation Course followed by an Intermediate Course then the Full Licence Course and another Foundation Course.

If you are interested or you know of anyone who is interested in any of the Training courses can you contact me and also get them to contact me so I can get everyone registered, etc…… Dates will then be arranged to suit.
There is a fair amount of paperwork involved so the earlier I am contacted the better, plus fees paid allows me to purchase all the course material and confirm room bookings for the courses.

If anyone self-studies for the Advance Licence Exam, then they can sit the exam at the club’s RSGB Registered Centre. We will book the venue, administer the examination paperwork, and invigilate the exam.

The exam fees must be with the RSGB one month before the exam date.

Fees for the self-study exam are as follows:

  • RSGB Foundation Exam Fees £35.50 (RSGB Member and Non-Member) Plus Room Hire Fees as required
  • RSGB Intermediate Exam Fees £39.00 (RSGB Member and Non-Member) Plus Room Hire Fees as required
  • RSGB Full Exam Fees £45.00 (RSGB Member and Non-Member) Plus Room Hire Fees as required
